# TrustYou alternatives

TrustYou is an AI platform for hotels, founded in Munich in 2008, and its review management product (TrustYou CXP) starts at €75 per property a month, billed annually. Alternatives to TrustYou for managing a hotel's reviews and online reputation include MARA, GuestRevu, Customer Alliance, Shiji ReviewPro and Revinate. PolarPuffin, which we make, is the alternative for the independent hotel that wants to know what to fix first, with no minimum term and a free trial.

## What TrustYou is and who it is for

TrustYou describes itself on its website as an AI platform for hotels. It was founded in Munich in 2008 and says it works in more than 100 countries, from boutique hotels to global chains. Besides reviews, it sells a guest data platform (CDP), an agent for guest conversations (TrustYou Agent) and reputation data for travel platforms (Meta Review).

Its review management product is **TrustYou CXP**. This is what its pricing page shows on 23 October 2026, per property a month, billed annually:

The page does not say how many review sites it reads, any minimum contract length or a free trial: every plan goes through sales or a demo.

## When it makes sense to look for a TrustYou alternative

TrustYou suits the hotel or group that wants reviews, surveys and benchmarking in one dashboard and is happy to pay a year upfront. Based on what it publishes, other tools are worth a look if:

- **You want to pay monthly or avoid a yearly commitment.** TrustYou CXP plans are billed annually.
- **You want AI replies without paying for the top plan.** At TrustYou, Response AI comes with Professional, from €180 a month per property.
- **You run a small hotel on a tight budget.** Some tools have a free plan or cost less than €75 a month.
- **You want to be told what to change in the hotel, not just see trends.** The TrustYou CXP pricing page talks about sentiment, keywords and analytics; it does not mention recommendations on what to fix or checking whether a change worked.
- **You need to try it before talking to sales.** TrustYou does not publish a free trial; other tools do.

Prices are shown as each tool publishes them; PolarPuffin's exclude VAT, and the others do not say on their pages whether tax is included. The other tools list their prices in euros; PolarPuffin's are in US dollars, with the same figures as in euros. When a tool does not publish a price, the table says so. PolarPuffin comes first because this is our page: it fits if you run 1 to 10 hotels and want to know what to fix first. For other needs, one of the others may suit you better.

## Cheaper alternatives to TrustYou

TrustYou CXP's cheapest plan, Lite, starts at €75 a month per property, billed annually, and does not include AI replies. This is how it compares with the alternatives that publish a price, according to their websites as of 23 October 2026:

If you want the lowest cost to get started, GuestRevu has a free plan and another at €34.99 a month. If what you want is AI replies for less than TrustYou's Professional plan, MARA includes them from Lite and Customer Alliance from Core.

At PolarPuffin, the Hotel plan costs $79 a month with no minimum term, or $63 a month billed yearly, and you can try it for 30 days with no card. With the same figures in euros, that is more than TrustYou Lite when paying monthly and less when paying yearly. ## If you run a small hotel

In a 20- or 40-room hotel, reviews are usually handled by the manager or the front desk, with little time for a dashboard. Based on what each tool publishes:

- **To start for free** with reviews from the top three sites and competitor tracking: GuestRevu's Lite plan.
- **For a B&B or guesthouse that wants guest surveys**: GuestRevu's Core plan, built for that kind of property.
- **To reply to lots of reviews with AI** in a hotel of up to 50 rooms: MARA's Lite plan.
- **To know what to fix first** without logging into a dashboard: every Monday PolarPuffin emails a report with up to five small, cheap changes, each with an owner, a cost and the reviews behind it. ## PolarPuffin vs TrustYou

PolarPuffin and TrustYou do different jobs. TrustYou CXP is an online reputation dashboard with reviews, surveys, analytics and benchmarking. In short, PolarPuffin fits if what you are missing is deciding what to change in the hotel with little time and little money, and then checking whether it helped. TrustYou is a better fit if you want a full reputation management dashboard with surveys and benchmarking from the first plan. ## When staying with TrustYou makes sense

- If you use its **surveys** and want them next to your reviews. PolarPuffin does not send surveys.
- If you want **competitor benchmarking** on the entry plan. At PolarPuffin it comes with Hotel Pro.
- If you reply to a high volume of reviews and Professional's **unlimited AI replies** work for you.
- If you are interested in its other products, such as the **guest data platform**.
